#5Jimmy Clausen is overrated and was overhyped. I agree with everyone else.
To think that USC was recruiting this guy.

#7Notre Dame has a stud sitting in the wings right behind Clausen. His name is Dayne Crist. I wish Notre Dame would play him. Kid was one of the top QB prospects in the nation when Notre Dame got him. I dont know why he wanted to go there, knowing that Clausen was the starter.Comment -

#8I watched him play two games live here in LA hes was on a High school team with alot of talent. Any High school football in So. Cal you are up against some good talent. In High school he looked all world it seems like the college defenses are too fast for him... The College game looks to fast for him. His High school O-line never let him get touched. Maybe Charlies Scheme is too tough for him to grasp... All i know is he looks like shit.Originally posted by Brock LandersGotta wonder what kind of competition he faced in HSComment -

#9I kinda think he's crap but in my original question, I should have asked how good you think he'd be with a first class O line.Comment -

#11In a pro style offense he will struggle but in a Texas Tech or Hawaii spread scheme i think he would be okay. If Timmy chang can make the right reads im sure Clausen could.Comment -

#18Sick thing is they both came from the same high school and were on the same team that won State Title game his senior year as well! I saw that game at the Home Depot Center and he (Clausen) almost cost his team the game! Doesnt help that he has no running game what so ever. The running back he had on his high school team is better than any running back Notre Damm will have in a long time!Originally posted by PanicNotre Dame has a stud sitting in the wings right behind Clausen.
