This is my play of the day. Pittsburgh is a very solid team and they should have no problem grinding out this road win in conference play. They lost to a very solid Cincinnati squad and then had an early 11am game in Jersey that is a tough spot for any team. They are flat out the better squad in this matchup and I really like Jamie Dixon group to play a big game against a Hoya team who is very talented on the defensive end but just can't score the rock.

Ken Pom has pitt ranked 11th and GTown 43! That should tell you something right there.

Also that was Pitt first true road game so expect them ready to play tonight.

The biggest mismatch in this game is rebounding. Pitt is far and away better in this department and it will be the difference.

JJ Moore will be the x factor

Anyone writing this team off after starting Big East play 0-2 is nuts. They will be heard from.

I would have thought the Hoyas would be at least twice the favorite that they are here against Pitt. I think the home team is a value in this one. The Panthers aren't battled tested, nor is this a good Pitt team. They waited all the way until their last game on January 5th to play on the road. They lost to Rutgers. Rutgers isn't better then Georgetown, and certainly not when the Hoyas are home. Yes, G-Town has some offensive inconsistencies, but to that point, their defense is also better than most. They hold their opponents to 50pt/game. Georgetown is the better team. At home they win by 5 will free throws at the end.

If they havent showed it yet most likely means you wont see it....they havent played anyone really...and this is a road game. Gtown will want to bounce back after having a poor shooting performance last game and still narrowly loosing. Gtown is the public bet for a reason tonight. They beat pitt.

I disagree that Cincy is NOT a solid team. Well coached, senior leadership, play with heart, can shoot the 3, can run the floor, and can play defense.

maybe you have some anti-BigEast Bias. Come tourney time, when cincy is in the sweet 16, you will be eating those words (IMO)
