Hockey playoffs take about that long, and the MLB playoffs-World Series are almost that long.
Who cares how long it takes, the longer it takes the more money each conference makes and maybe avoid things like the collapse of the Big East

Notre Dame showed up, its just that they are Notre Dame...think playing Xbox on recruit level vs All American - Bama has 5 Manti T'eo's and just reload.

Watch the replays...Irish were getting blown up, 3-5 yards off the line each time. The hardest hit AJ took from that touted defense was from Barrett Jones and when he slid funny on the scramble.

Irish need to keep pounding their chests about a 'rally win' vs Pitt or Syracuse and stop at that....they did not belong in Miami.
