This isn't last year's Alabama team. They're very good, and their OL is one of the best I've seen in the college game, but there are definite chinks in the armor. ND's front seven it outstanding. Secondary is weak. It'll depend on how accurate McCarron is tonight.

ND's defense is indeed very "SEC-like". There are no less than 4-5 NFL players on ND's defense-- Kapron Lewis-Moore (Proj 3rd rounder), Te'o (NFL 1st rounder), Tuitt (2014 NFL 1st rounder), Nix (2014 likely 2nd-3rd rounder), Bennett Jackson (3rd-4th rounder).
