He walked off the field and was walking fine. Pain or no pain, he could have atleast made an attempt to find the ball. He could have atleast turned his head and saw it was next to him. Lots of athletes have played through pain. Rich Franklin knocked out Chuck Liddell after his arm got broke. Sometimes you gotta suck it up when everything is on the line like that.
