If This Were the 1700's Mike Shannahan Would Have Owned the Most Slaves......
.....this guy pretty much ran RG III to the ground in that playoff game. There were several instances where it looked like Griffin just about was shot in his leg and Shannahan continued to run him out there like a rented mule. Could potentially ruin this kid's future. And now he has the nerve to back up his decision during the post game press conference. Guy has no soul.

And since I'm on a racist rant right now I gotta say that Russell Wilson looks like a dirty Indian.

    The end.

Distasteful thread title, but yes, Shanahan doesn't care as much for his players' safety. Race has no bearing on his decision IMO.

I disagree because just look at the way Shannahan looks and answers questions regarding the black QB. I see zero remorse from him.

It's like he is talking about some animal and not a person. Someone needs to make the Redskins head coach go see Django Unchained.

You're wrong. Daniel Snyder is the slave and plantation owner. Shannahan just keeps them bunked.

Of course RG III will say that....he is a competitor by nature. Most players in his situation would say the same thing.

But as the head coach Shannahan's gotta know when to protect his 'franchise' player. He just didn't care about the black QB flat out.

Shanny also kept Terrell Davis in a Superbowl play while he was having a migraine headache and couldn't see sh1t. Worked great because Elway able to do a playaction and run in for a touchdown.

Terrible thread title. He should've yanked him but remember they had the lead until late. RG3 wanted to be in there, unlike Ponder yesterday who didn't play through an injury even Kurt Warner said he's had.

Exactly. Man doesn't respect the blacks. It's like he's the plantation owner and they are his slaves.

RG III with a partially torn ACL.

Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III suffered a partially torn lateral collateral ligament in his right knee, a source told ESPN's Brett McMurphy.

                                Unreal.

NYSportsGuy - I played for Shanahan and I can't say he's racist but he is a huge dick. I could tell you some stories that you would not believe. Now this has been many years ago and maybe he's changed today but I know him as a pathological liar. The guy would lie with a straight face over shit that didn't need to be lied about. He thought he was smarter than everyone else and could just say anything and make you believe. The mind games were ridiculous. He did it thinking he could get more out of you. He is so bent on winning that he would sell out his mama if it gave him a winner.

He also thinks you should play hurt. Don't be a pussy around him. He almost died on the football field (true story) so he expects you to do the same thing. He's very manipulative and you never know his ulterior motive. He may have wanted Cousins as next years starter. You never know with that guy...

the coach and GM's job is to win, not worry about the long term health of the player. like with strasburg, you aren't guaranteed to make it to the playoffs the next year or the next 5 years. they should be trying to win this year, that is their job.
