You must be a serious gamer if you play PS3.

I love the graphics but the learning curve is too steep for me on the PS3, plus I already have enough addictions, and I already own a Wii. I'm obviously not a hardcore gamer, I mainly play Wii tennis with a buddy and "Donkey Kong" when playing alone.

The only games I play other than Wii sports are "World of Goo", and "Donkey Kong" I was a kid in the eighties, hence the interest in Donkey Kong.

Wii is fun but I doubt I'd buy another console, it just doesn't get enough use from me, good when my nieces/nephews are over to visit though.

yeah my nieces and nphews love the Wii too, I'm not really a gamer, but its fun to play at times to get arms moving around and fun to do

xbox is louder, its broken, and you have to buy wireless for it...its also not blueray... Since I have a 46inch tv I'm happy with it. It works nicely so far.

Computer games seem to be so MMOish anymore... While I do play warhammer online, like 2x a week...I find myself playing a console more...I can pause a console and play with my cats I'm still out in the main room not hold up in the office...etc things like that...

So I guess as I get older I still find myself playing console videogames

Rockband
I bought my son the Xbox360 and the Rockband game. Love it. we get down on it
I play the drums so it comes easy to me since I already have the coordination for it.
But its good fun especially rocking out with a 7 yr old

Guys... please...just cuz your no talent musicians doesn't mean playing a ps3 or xbox game is cool.. I mean your essentially sitting in your living room beating on plastic.

I guess its cool for the 7 year old..but I still fail to see why so many 20-30 something guys think its the greatest game ever...

I don't think it's the greatest game ever, just fun when people are over, like I said. Have you played it before? Get a couple of drinks in you and you'll be having a blast.

Sports: Fifa and Madden (NCAA is pretty good this year too)
Role playing: stick to the old PS2 games.
Horror: dead space
Strategy: stick to PC

I dont see why so many 20-30 yr olds think playing war games over live links is so cool either
