Should I Post My NFL Plays This Week?

According to the "Who's the biggest fraud on SBR" thread, I'm a pretty big one for posting picks that I don't have money on. I've argued that I cap these games hard and just try and provide insight for people, but it seems me posting my picks offends some people.

Should I not bother this week? I'll gladly stop posting my plays if I'm offending you guys. I'm only trying to help give people another opinion on games, and I'm not forcing anyone to read these write-ups or calling any of my games LOCKS or SURE WINNERS. But if you think my posting plays makes the board a shittier place, please vote no and I will stop.

The people that come on here and help others and have good inputs on games is the one's that's always the fraud or the bad people! You just keep doing what you are doing because there are people that count on your write ups!!

Sure, go ahead. Personally, I don't understand why you would go to such lengths to post picks and handicap games (if you're really spending as much time on this as you claim) if you're not actually putting any money down. Just seems that, if you're really broke, as you say, your time would be better spent doing something more financially productive. But the whole accountability argument discussed in the thread mentioned above is absurd. You don't owe anyone here anything. Those that blindly follow other posters' plays (whether the poster they're following is personally betting those games or not), only to complain and talk shit when the person they're following isn't winning at what's deemed an acceptable rate by the follower(s), are among the biggest scum on these forums.

THAT is complete bullshit. Every single one of my plays is accounted for. SBR doesn't delete threads so you can comb through every single NFL and college pick I've made and every single one of them is there. I've updated every loser man, that is a really really cold accusation.

I cap because I enjoy it, and I want to get better so that I can bet on games when I have the money. As for getting a job, I am actively searching; I don't know how the job market is where you are, but here in Los Angeles you can't even find a job at Hollywood Video. I've been applying and looking. If you have any jobs in Los Angeles for me, let me know, I'll start Monday.

That was me... unfinished series. As soon as college football is done, I'm going to finish up that series, have about 3 videos left to do.

As for the JJ video, thank you, I'm glad it was so well received. Working on a few ideas, should have another non-gambling entertainment video coming out soon.

Thanks for those of you that voted... I shouldn't have made this thread, I'm sorry that I let it get to me tonight. Most nights I don't, but I'm a bit on edge (had some Thanksgiving family issues, but who didn't?) and Panic's thread just hit a nerve.

Honesty and being true to your word is something that means a lot to me, and thats why I took being called a fraud so personally. Calling me fat or whatever I can understand is joking around/light hearted.

But unlike so many others, I didn't create an online persona who was super cool and had an endless bankroll. I have been completely honest about everything gambling related and non-gambling related, I've never lied about my record, never altered a pick.

I knew that being honest about not having the money to gamble would bring criticism, but I'd rather be honest than lie about betting dimes on games when I don't have dimes to bet.

Calling me a fraud (by definition deceitful and dishonest) is completely out of line. Call me fat, tell me my picks suck, but don't attack my character. That is low.

But yeah, sorry for letting it get to me tonight. Just needed some re-assurance that EVERYONE didn't hate me. Thanks for the support.

He also thinks when he loses two legs of a 10 team parlay it should count 8-2 not 0-1. I bet he wouldve counted as 0-1 if it had gone 2-8.

I think people definitely are suspicious that I want to go tout, and nothing I say is going to change those suspicions. I'm just all about "innocent until proven guilty"... if I ever turn tout or charge for a pick, I would expect a shit storm and the entire forum to turn on me, and that would be understandable. But disliking me based on a guess that I may become a tout someday seems unfair.

VegasDave does this for fun (picks, vids, touting his horn, etc) with no financial risk to himself but a huge burden on others that follow. It is appropriate for him to post in the players talk section of the forum so he can be on the limelight. After all he lives just minutes from Hollywood.
