That's why I came down in early May. The weather was in the upper 80's/low 90's. I can't really handle anything warmer than that.

The first time I went to Vegas (7 years old), we drove out and stopped at the Hoover Dam. I got out of the car and it was very hot, but then the wind blew and it actually felt like my skin had caught on fire. It was the only time I've ever experienced a situation where the wind made you hotter instead of cooling you off.

I know its terrible. I didnt mention the winds, but its just dreadful when they kick up. Its not a cool breeze, its just like the heater was turned up to HIGH. It also seems like its windy here more often then not.

We been having thunderstorm warnings this past week and no rain. It just adds humidity to the weather, and makes things sticky and more uncomfortable.

August is worse then June. Probably in the 110's. Just be prepaired for anything from 100-120. Different parts of the valley are at different temps, so we get wide ranges of heat.

As long as your inside the Air conditioned casinos, you will be fine.

If you walk the strip, make sure you have water or some sort of drink with you.
