Except for one, bowls are exhibitions, nothing more. Florida looked like they spent the extra practice time preparing for next year, while Louisville spent it trying to win the Sugar Bowl. You can't blame them though, trying to win next year is way more important than winning a bowl game. This was Louisville's Super Bowl. Let's be honest, even if they had gone undefeated they wouldn't be playing for a national title. The Sugar Bowl was their ceiling. It reminded me of Alabama/Utah a few years back.

I am an SEC guy but after being at superdome for Gators getting crushed by L-Ville, watching LSU $hit the bed, and some of the other "stronger" SEC schools struggle - I really have to wonder if ND isn't the right side. Certainly laying a TD is a lot given how bad some of the stronger SEC schools have looked.........

Just have to take each game as its own......Ole Miss destroyed Pitt today, a team that should have beat Notre Dame in overtime. USC played a close game with Notre Dame as well and got beat bad by Georgia Tech in their bowl game
