I feel that they really do because Ohio St. has 2 losses.

ohio state will likely go to the capital 1 bowl. Boise could make it, but it'd take way too much to go their way

Theoretically, yes. Realistically, no. Too many other teams with bigger names and bigger fan bases. I just don't see it happening...

I think it might just come down the the Civil War game tomorrow. Because, everything rides on it IMO.

no, bowls are all about money
bigger name schools get the bid

with that said, I would love to see OSU in the Capital one bowl cause UGA also has a good chance to go

if utah wasnt 12-0 boise would have a chance, not more than 1 mid major conf team goes each season, 2 would be a major precedence, so boise will most likely go to the humanitarian bowl which is played on their home field, they will play a mid tier acc team and beat them down

Ball St. has already said they refuse to play in the humanitarian bowl.

if these mid-majors want the respect that comes with great teams why dont they start scheduling some non-conference games with respectable big name schools

we all remember what happened to Boise in Athens a few years ago, and than last year with Hawai. the best team Boise has played this year is Oregon. come on. BCS my ass

exactly , cause that would be a game tthey might have a chance to lose.

Which should be good enough to impress these bowls in order to realize just how good Boise St. really is.

It's slim but if Oregon knocks off State tomorrow, 'Bama loses to Auburn and Florida, and Mizzou wins the Big 12 Champ, they could squeak in. But... not gonna happen.

0.00%. Deserve has nothing to do with it. The bowls will not take a team from outside of a major conference unless contractually obligated to do so.
