I came here to learn about the industry. There's an edge in understanding how the different books work. A few hidden remarks here and there by SBR John or Bill Dozer have been the most insightful for me. 99.9% of what is said here is completely useless.

I'd say that's reasonably accurate. But if you're any good at picking the right threads and posters, you can probably get to the point where 1.5% to 3% of what you read is useful.

That number is much higher if entertainment falls under your definition of useful.
