Anybody buying into the rumors to Saban interviewing/taking the HC job in Cleveland after this season? Saban's 2nd NFL coming out party?

I think this is the consensus anyway. But as stated above, rumors are rumors. He has it made in Tuscaloosa anyway.

He would be absolutely nuts to leave his current situation. He's already had his taste of the NFL & he didn't like it.

Maybe. I think I'm missing the hilarity in your comment.

Yeah Sabin was such a success in the NFL.

There arent many college guys who can do it. Mostly because they cant really coach they just plug in guys with far superior talent at every position and have alumni and boosters make sure everyone gets paid.

Thats why the guys who do well at small budget schools actually do much better over all than guys from the big name programs. because they can actually coach a little bit and dont have superior athletes at every position.

Its a miracle Carroll is doing as well as he is in Seattle, his first go around he was a joke. But I think he has had some benefits here and there that he got to take advantage of. But it takes more than wild card wins to be a 'success' IMO so right now his only claim so far is he can make the play offs.

Heh. Saban isn't coming back to the NFL. He did his time and had pretty bleh success. Why'd you wanna leave a place where you're a god to go be the next guy on the hotseat? Only way I think it happens is if Alabama is investigated for some reason.
