I feel you. I didnt get much into online but ive been a consistant cash game player since i was 19(altered ID/they didnt ask for id)

Fortunate enough for me i live in northern CA which is what i believe to be the third biggest poker market in the US behind LA and vegas. Between Sac SF and San jose you have action 24/7 and can find huge 5/10 nl games everyday. Outside of Ca some states dont even have legalized poker and the one's that do have small caps on the buy ins. I cudnt imagine living somewhere east of texas and have 1 or 2 options in town to play. Im in sac and every weekend has about 15 options. Cheers if you find time to play in the wsop. See you there.

I'm actually heading that way in a month for vacation. Going into SF then up to Oregon and on over to Tahoe. Might try to hit up a card room or two on the way. Never been to California before... pretty excited.

I have two options here about 30-40 minutes away in opposite directions. It's hit and miss some nights as one is primarily a greyhound track. Usually several 1/2 and a few 2/5 run but rarely see a hold'em game higher than that. There's some old farmers that like to get a big stud game going. Never really know what traffic will be like when school is out. Lots of college kids funnel into either place which can be either good or bad. GL to you this year!

Learn what bankroll management is. I go all-in several times a year, only once was it because I felt comfortable with the play (UH Football last year) every other time it's strictly tilt because i lost a bet I thought had won. Never ends well and I can't learn my lesson.

Same! Got to stick to a few games I really like and not bet on unc Greensboro vs citadel in a day game ncaab just for action when I have no clue on these teams.
