    Weekend Soccer Picks 11/29-30
3 Units Wigan -120 (William Hill) V West Brom Sat 10.00am EST

Because Wigan have only scored four home goals this season it means I’m playing this game more on gut feeling than I am confidence, which is reflected in my unit size, but that said, West Brom are the worst team in the Premier League and Wigan will know this is a perfect opportunity to chalk up back-to-back home wins. West Brom hasn’t won for seven games (L6 D1) and has scored just two goals on the road all season. Wigan beat Everton last Monday on merit, and if they play as well as they did then they’ll win, simple as that.

2 Units Bolton +230 (BET365) at Sunderland Sat 10.00AM EST

Bolton has now won three on the road and they’ve all been against similar opposition. Sunderland have lost four of their seven home games, including the last two, and whilst Bolton are another team you wouldn’t stake your life on there’s definitely some value to be had by siding with them in this after a great win on the road against Middlesbrough last week.

2 Units Stoke +150 (Paddy Power) V Hull Sat 10.00AM EST

After a fantastic start to life in the Premier League, Hull have taken just two points from the last fifteen on offer and I give Stoke a great chance to bolster their already excellent home record, a record that shows no other team has more home wins. After a great home win against West Brom last week, this is another golden opportunity for Stoke to gain another three points at The Brittania Stadium.

    1 Unit Manchester City +333 (BET365) V Manchester United Sun 8.30AM EST

This is another perfect example of a team that’s overpriced because they’re playing a team that attracts a lot of public money regardless of who they play. Having beaten Arsenal at home last Saturday, City then beat Shalke in Germany in the UEFA Cup on Thursday-a game that saw them actually rest their star player Robinho-and will come into this full of confidence. When you consider City beat United home and away last season it makes this a fantastic play for small stakes at a working mans price.

1 Unit, Three-Team Parlay, Wigan, Bolton & Stoke, +14.85 (Paddy Power)

1 Unit Blyth Spartans +650 (skybet) at AFC Bournemouth Sat 12.30PM EST

This F.A. Cup 2nd round match might not be available at all US books but if you can find it it’s definitely worth a play. Blyth play in ‘non-league’ football and travel a long way to play at AFC Bournemouth but Bournemouth are woeful at present and are definitely worth taking on at a juicy price. I capped Blyth a +400 chance.

I think fading Arsenal until they start playing well again is a good system at the moment and I think they'll lose again this week, the only reason I didn't pick Chelsea is because their home record is so eratic.

That Bolton value is ridiculous, might have to get in on that.

I agree, the trouble is, this week is a hard week because all the value lies with teams who are unreliable and teams you wouldn't pick any other week, the books are willing to take on the unreliable teams.

Maybe Arsenal rallies behind their new captain, who knows.

Chelseas home form is so unreliable anything's possible. I actually like Chelsea at their price but just can't bring myself to back them.

Noone beats United three times in a row. And their coach is Mark Hughes. Sir Alex will not be outcoached by his former player.

Screw Villa, messed up my four team parlay

They had like 99.9% possession too.

                                  Yeah, f'k Villa.

2 bad beats, them and the Buff Bulls.

I want to punch a baby.

Stoke messed my parlay up Z but Im 4.6 units up with 2 live dogs to go, so the worst I can be is +2.6.

                                    Pavy was VERY unlucky.

Paves, if Stoke had won I would have been looking at another 15 units with the parlay....grrrrrrr.
