GT looks like a play but look at the track records of option teams in bowls.

USC has a team full of future NFL players that don't want this to be the game they get hurt and hurt there performance at NFL combine and there draft position. GT doesn't have many future NFL players. What team is going to get up for this game more? GT without question to me. Like the scenario for GT and actually would like it more if Barkley was playing. GT looks solid. Take a look at Clemson later. GL LB

Line really didn't drop because Barkley wasn't playing... Vegas anticipated he wasn't. But regardless... so much public money scares me. I had Georgia Tech +10 My wager might not be worth a poo now.

Barkley was still ? up until when the line dropped. When he was announced as out, it took a plunge.

You had Georgia Tech at +10, they're +7 at most shops, yet you don't think you made a good wager?

Anyway, both of these teams are erratic and unpredictable. Who knows what will happen.

I don't know how you could feel comfortable backing either team. Depends on their level of respective motivation, which is anyone's guess.

I will tell you this. Max Wittek is good. He looks better than Barkley. The issue is will Woods, and Lee care? Will USC be motivited?

After one game and a bunch of closed practices how exactly do you know Wittek looks better than Barkley?

Max is bigger, stronger, and faster, but..........we all know it takes a lot more than that to be a top notch QB (and I'm big Wittek fan).

As for the dinner.......the SC plane was late and Kiffin was determined to get the afternoon walk-through/practice in (just as G-tech had done) before dinner. Let's also keep in mind that Sun Bowl officials were with SC admin the entire time........it was no big surprise when SC showed up late for dinner.

However, I do agree that if SC cares.............they will do well. But, no Barkley, probably no Lee, and possibly no Curtis McNeal may very well slow down the offense.
