already has been a winner... IMO he has really gotten a shit deal. I hope some team commits to him long term as there starting Qb.. Jets look like even more of a joke than they already are the way they treated him

I've said all along, if Tebow is used right, he could be effective. Jacksonville is going no where any time soon. Why not try something different? Get Tebow in Jacksonville, and center the offense around him. Make it a primary helter-skelter, no huddle attack. Tebow works better on the run in a hurry up offense. That's part of the reason why he did so well in the 4th quarter in Denver. Get rid of Gabbert and Henne, and get back ups that are similar to Tebow's style (Terrelle Pryor would be nice if they could get him.). If it work out, great. If it doesn't, you're no worse off, and at least you've been able to take down the tarp off the seats in your stadium for a little while, and also been able to garner some well needed media coverage.

Pretty much agree with KLC. Tebow threw for over 300 yards in that Pitt game he can throw if utilized right.

Teams will blitz him a lot so design plays to get around blitzs. Blackmon in OSU was great for yards after the catch so throw short screens, hand the ball off to your two great RB's ground and pound hold on to the ball and grind.

Jaguars are bad and in a tough conference with Houston and now Indy is getting so good. If they go 8-8 next year you have to consider that a major improvement over this year. But it's going to be hard for them this year for example they played 9 games with playoff teams, and the other teams were teams like Detroit or Chicago still tough teams even if they missed the playoffs. By comparison Denver played 5 playoff teams and lost to 3 of them.

But as bad as Jets management is to say that him not starting is a indication of his talent is just retarded.

Tebow is a winner. He excells clock, moves the chains, and gets the win. People are just use to qbs who drop back and throw every play. He's not prototypical. People just don't want to watch a low scoring running contest so the don't like Tt. Truth is a winner at any level.

Agree that if used intelligently, he could be a great qb. Jets and ryan were too dumb to design plays that used his advantages, there are no other quarterbacks with his toughness, hes like a fullback out there.

Jets shouldve plowed him up the middle 25 times a game, if he got hurt so what you werent playing him anyway

Then they put 8 or 9 in the box? Just throw short passes one on one to the outside.

Jets were the only team in the top 8 for total defense that didnt make the playoffs other than pittsburgh. Quite simply its because they played sanchez and he lost games for them.

Even if Tebow isnt the best QB out there, he is a good team leader and guys want to play for him. Not like Sanchez. Guys question his work ethic and his dedication, thats not a good thing

Tebow is the kind of guy that will work his tail off. First in the training facility, last to leave kind of guy.

Why do you trade for a guy and not even use him? Just shows you how unsophisticated the Jets management is. You only trade for a guy after you do your homework and justify it. Jets trade for Tebow and go "oh, this isnt what we expected, whoops"

To be fair, it wasn't like Tebow carried the Broncos to the playoffs last year. It was because of their defense that they had any chance at all, they got big turnovers and played lights out. Tebow got all the credit, but it was because of their defense they got as far as they did.

Tebow may have some success, but over the long haul, defenses will adjust and take advantage of his deficiencies. At best, he would be only a short term solution. The NFL has become a passing league and Tebow's limited ability will be expolited.

I agree with a lot of stuff written here. But what's unforgivable is that fat-ass never have him a chance even though his team sucked and there was nothing to lose. He sits the starter and passes him on the depth chart for the 3rd. guy, then the 3rd. guy gets hurt and he passes him over again. Jets management should fire his stupid ass for being so stubborn (stupidly so).

Tebow is a nice guy, people genuinely like him. Fat Rex doesn't enjoy the same so he's hating on the poor guy.

He can't be a great QB. If he's a "winner" then just let him coach and be a motivator or whatever. He's not an NFL QB. Denver realized that. The Jets realized it. If some other team tries to find out next season they'll realize it. It's unclear whether he could be an asset in another role, but as more time passes it becomes less likely. Maybe he could star in the CFL. Don't know that league well enough but that might work.
