I think the line was sharp here--opened at VT -2, now PK. But I think it's all about the headlines and the Scarlet Knights have more to play for than The Hokies do after a meager 6-6 season. Playing for redemption doesn't usually fair well in bowl games (I refer back to OSU's last season bowl game against Florida), especially when the opponent is going for it's first ten win season since '06 and sixth straight bowl win. Rutgers already has momentum going into their final season as a member of the Big East. A win in this spot would only propel the prospects of being a new respected member of the Big Ten (save the conference arguments for another thread).

So I guess what I'm getting at is that the best option would be to tease the spread a few points or dabble with the over at 41.5. When there's a team playing with nothing to lose and another playing for recognition, chances will be made and turnovers will teeter this into the mid 40's.
