Not gonna work for me this year; have other commitments over the Open fortnight and took time out to head to the Bris Intl most days. There's a chance I might make it down for a day or two to catch up with some friends, but will be a FIFO deal.
That said, if we planned something a bit further ahead of time for AO next year I'd love to catch up with some of you. Last forumville event I did was an EOG Bash in Vegas in '06 or so when I was living in Europe.Comment -

I've seen much worse bets. You never know with the women... especially when the heat is a major factor. It'll just take her a bit of luck and she could really do some damage. Have only been 1.5 days so far and yesterday was more work stuff than anything else. Saturday I'm there with IMG so hopefully he's not too cranky considering he ditched them a few months ago. Him and the wife are supposed to be doing a meet and greet for a big bank here and I have a pass into that + I'll have the mini me along for a couple of hours so hopefully it all works out. Yeah even in this ridiculous heat I feel pretty blessed to live here right now. Aussie Open is an amazing time in Melbourne. Everyone gets super into it even if they're not hardcore tennis fans so the atmosphere is amazing. And the diehards are pretty funny. When I was leaving yesterday Stosur had just choked her match away. There were a group of guys near one of the gates all dressed in green and gold and faces painted who had signs that said "Stosur for sale every January. $50 obo. Will also consider trades for beer."
