I think it's SBR's way of being patriotic, SBR doesn't want foreigners to have a chance.

All the new contests are -110 based to prevent the hail mary type MLs that were pertinent in the 1st 128 man tourney...

NFL, NBA, NCAAF, NCAAB sides and totals are all -110/-110 type bets. Hockey MLs and pucklines arent.

I agree that NHL should get more love around here but it makes sense in a uniform contest.

We may do something in the future specifically aimed at hockey guys, but for now it doesn't really mesh with what we have found a majority of posters want.

No offense CrazyL, but this is something that is echoed to me it seems weekly and nothing every comes up. There are enough posters that a hockey contest would interest that would make it worth SBRs time. That was proved by having the petition for the hockey contest.

I realize that SBR being in a warm weather climate doesn't care much for the sport but there are a lot of people that frequent this site that really follow hockey closely.

If you are going to actually have contest great, if you aren't then don't say we might sometime soon. You might as well be honest and say that you aren't take down the hockey forum and hockey lines of SBRlines because that means you really don't care.
