Mike Woodson is the early coach of the year favorite. Considering most coaches are former players, I don't think you'll see the end of black NBA coaches for a while, if ever.

This was about one thing and one thing only: Deron Williams unhappy with his role in the offense, just like in Utah when they fired Sloan. The Nets owner thinks himself the Russian Mark Cuban and is so desperate to win that vanity title he's more likely to act on a whim.

Seeing Avery Johnson in the Association goes to show he is taken too lightly from the players. Like this is a fun frat house. No sense of urgency and he just comes off as a little angry black man. All bark, no bite. Deron Williams will never be championship caliber. Just reminds me of Melo, all individual and no team. Always struggle to get deep into playoffs.

anyways avery johnson is a great coach, but williams again got a good coach fired. who the penetrate would want this job with a player like williams? he got sloan fired, and now avery johnson. nets were missing wide open shots, not much a coach can do about that. kinda ****** up, they didn't even give him 1/2 of a season to get this team to gel, esp. after getting coach of the month and 11-4 record. just doesn't make sense to me.
