For a couple of months there was multiple threads on BetIslands , everyone was singing their praises.

How many posters do you think came in here and read all these posts and decided to post up there ?

Most of these guys are naive and will listen to posters rather then doing any research on their own.

So the fact that SBR was rating them so high, and that BI sponsored the bash had no bearing on people depositing?

I agree that the burden of risk falls into the players hands, but SBR markets itself as "The players watchdog". Thus, giving the idea that players shouldn't have to do extensive research once SBR gives their stamp of approval.
