Some Things are Just left to your Childhood Memories

I am watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade for the first time in years and it isn't nearly as good as I remembered. I guess when I was a kid the cheesiness just didn't bother me so much. I should have kept the memories I had of it and not watched.

Anything else you guys can think of that is better left to Childhood memories??

I know what you mean. I find that lots of things don't stand up to those memories.

I remember I thought the movie Blazing Saddles was hilarious when it came out. I watched it recently and I don't think I cracked a smile through the whole thing. It was like, "What was I ever thinking?"

Going to the CNE (Canadian National Exhibition) was a beloved yearly tradition the whole time I was growing up. Then, after decades of not going, I checked it out a couple summer's ago.

Amen to that, Saved By The Bell was an after-school ritual for me. "Zach" is now on that new show on TNT, Breaking The Bar, and I get an adult reminder of just how horrible an actor he really is.
