Kiddo is about to head to bed. Here's what I'll be doing in the garage for probably about the next 4 hours.

Going to attempt to turn this pile of bolts, nuts and miscellaneous pieces......

....into a kick-ass pink 2-seater dune buggy!!I always end up cussing and griping over these late night assembly shifts, but I'll be the first to admit that inside I love it. I absolutely do not look forward to the days when I'm not having to do this anymore. For me at least, this is what its all about.

If you run into problems dont let your woman see you raging at the directions on christmas morning, putting christmas presents together and christmas decorations have brought an end to a few relationships of mine. I am pretty good at putting some stuff together but something like that could really bring the rage, but you sound like you got this.

Nice. I'm interested how long the battery lasts on those things. I remember when I was a kid and got one of those back around 99 I'd say and it was great except you had to recharge the battery after 30 minutes of use.

my wife always does the assembling. When it's just me, I turn into a gorilla, just trying to force pieces together. One time I built a dinosaur that was actually supposed to be a tricycle.

Have done the xmas eve build of swingsets, bikes and even a pool.

One year at midnight I realized I was not going to be able to put a trampoline together by myself. Ended up finding 3 friends to help and it turned into a great night. One of the most memorable Christmases ever.

thanks for the memories. When i was a kid i would go to bed early and remember hearing my dad cussing while i was acting like i was asleep. i would wake up to a wonderful new go cart. i remember that thing fell apart a week after i had it and now i know why my dad was cussing
