While there may be no crying over spilled milk, a north Idaho man was thrown behind bars Thursday night for spilling—or more accurately, dumping—his coffee.
This morning's Coeur d'Alene Press reports that 63-year-old Larry Burrage of Coeur d'Alene was arrested Dec. 20 after pouring his coffee on a video game machine at the Cour d'Alene Casino in Worley. Law enforcement said the damage to the machine, and lost revenue, exceeded $1,000.
Officials said video surveillance revealed Burrage deliberately spilled the coffee onto the machine. Burrage admitted to a losing streak of $500, resulting in his anger.
Burrage was charged with malicious injury to property and booked into the Kootenai County Jail.
