#39i always withdrawl frequently when i have a 5 fig balance
not scared being with 5dime, but not going to let much more than 5figs just sit offshore either,,,makes 0 sense to me
id rather pay more fees, withdrawl more, and have money in hand
thankfully in almost 15 yrs offshore, never been stiffed, but i always stuck to big books and never take bonuses to get money held hostage by these booksComment -

#40I feel good with 5dimes. Always have had great run ins with customer service and whatever issues get resolved immediately. Not sure I would trust anybody with more than 5k though. Maybe that's just because I'm small timeComment -

#41I trust nobody offshore anymore. Anybody can close up show whenever they want and nobody will be able to do a thing. To get these assholes back in line would take no less than drug cartel justice. Scaring the daylight out of people to the point where they wouldn't even imagine cheating the player.Comment -

#42Darkhat knows what he is talking about. Only play with funds that basically mean nothing to you. Meaning if you have 1k or 50k in a book and you logged in and saw they screwed all the players and are gone. You need to be posed off sure but not where you were counting ok that $ for anything in your life or needed it. It should be with funds you can afford to lose with ease.המוסד

#43I get a charge all of a sudden for the love that Legends gets where I've played for years as well as 5 Dimes and Bookmaker. I guess it all makes sense. You can give bonuses away, but you have to keep the -110. Or no bonuses (basically the 5 Dimes Mantra) and do reduced juice. But you can't have it both ways. Maybe vanilla isn't so bad after all.Comment -

Agreed.
2 things
1)you only truly lose what you deposit.
2) its not your money until it's in your pocket
Also agree with 5mike5..
I'd much rather withdrawal frequently and pay the fees and have the money in hand.. sure 80 dollar fees suck... but it's much better than losing out on 2k
I don't see the point in leaving large amounts off shore anyway.. it's not like your getting interest leaving 100 k in your book maker acctComment -

#46I keep a small percentage of my roll online with most of it offline in a separate bank account just for that. Once it gets over a certain amount, I cash out. I can always deposit more on the site, but getting it off is another story.Comment -

#49Nice call but...gaming in the US will be run by legit companies and governed by a legit gaming commission.Originally posted by iifoldWill eventually be a gambling site with poker and sports...
Have the greatest client list ever...
Testing everything with points now...
Soon it will be for cash...
Could turn into the Vegas of the internet, think about it...
Once gambling is legal everywhere, which is only a matter of time, SBR will not only have the ability to host a gambling community, but also offer the community places to play poker and bet...
Just imagine if points were real money, we would all be on this site 24/7...
Anyone who had anything to do with internet gaming will be pushed aside.Comment -

#50Sportsbooks aren't allowed to do financial transactions here related to their business. There's a loophole where they operate as customer service call centers. Costa Rica doesn't license sportsbooks, they can't bank here, and they're not even supposed to have their servers here to do the actual gambling (but they do it anyway).
No money is here. Costa Rica has repeatedly tried to tax the sportsbooks, but with no money coming in, there's nothing to tax. Instead, they charge them a yearly fee based on the number of computers/employees they have.
Originally posted by billysinkCosta Rica is no longer the safest haven out there and it will get a lot worse quickly if the U.S continues to flex its muscle and the banking laws tighten as they are planned to do. The U.S administration (Obama) is going hard after anything money laundering related. I can understand how Walker's manlove for Obama has evolved over the years.
Here is some awfully interesting reading for anyone with the patience to digest it.
The Costa Rica Star has recently published information about receiving your permanent residency in Costa Rica to avoid border runs, wasting time, and money. Author’s Note: This article should not be considered legal advice. Readers with questions on the matters explained below should contact attorneys who are in good standing with the Colegio de Abogados de Costa Rica (the National Bar Association). #51Depends on what you call "offshore?" I don't think any serious gambler worries about their balance in Pinnacle. Costa Rican books with a very few exceptions are a different matter.Comment -

#52i know people that have had large payouts at those offshore books W U but wow like you need to give blood samples when you collect
i like 5 dimes but i also fear what if they decide to pull out of usa also? There is a way we could help our country if we sent e mail to our state gov's and reps, and to white house and get the dummies to remove the ban on sports betting and we could play at our local lottery agents yes it's programmed into the state lottery system the sports gambling software same machine that prints out lottery tickets prints out your ticket. This would create millions of jobs and pour trillions a year into us economy there is at least 250 million bettors in usa and if you figure that only about 10% are winners the rest lose like 5500 per year thats a lot of cash collectedComment -

#53Thanks for the information that you have given us here and this can only help understand. I am shocked they doing have internet gaming licenses there to even operate there. I thought to have such a business there they had to put up a security deposit of a certain amount there.
