A nugget I found about BetIslands

There's been a lot of discussion about who the owners are/were.

I posted this in another thread, but I didn't want it to get lost.

We all know by now that Justin referred to "Jon" as the owner of BI. SBR_John, and Dozer seemed to refute that.

But when you dig around and look at BI's website registration---- SSLP is the listed registrant.

Is it common for an employee to be the one who registers the web name? Why would Jon register the domain if he had no financial arm in the operation?

Maybe some of you guys with more knowledge of the CR market can answer.

Then did the search myself.
