I still vote for NE Patriots 2007. 18-0 then lost the SB

Jerry Angelo ex GM of Bears was clueless and royally F'd up that team; will take a few good drafts to fix.

Two game collapse? In the discussion of biggest ever? And sounded like you were talking about a 17 game season there.

I am going to give you two points in case that was rude, but you gave me a headache.
Haha, I think more Chargers fans remember that season than anyone, the Broncos had the division lined up for them just like the Bears.

now its just a distant memory given their struggles.

        no offense taken btw.

8.5 you should be safe, if they don't win next week, as a bears fan I might have to go to Hallas hall and beat Lovie upside the head. I've got over 9.5, for 8 units, thought that and eagles under 9.5 was free money, and they both were as close as you can get to locks 9 weeks in, but nope.
Where/when/what odds did you get on 8.5?

Bears need to start drafting OL instead of defensive players in the 1st round.

Well, biggest game of this year at AZ of all places...CHI must win on the road to get back into the race. I look for a very inspired performance.

2 of the last 3 first round picks were offensive line.Gabe Carimi and Chris Williams.

No, the Bears have sucked all year. They just happened to win some games because of pure luck.

6 of their 8 wins were by 2+ TDs. I'm not sure what you mean by luck. They were lucky to score so many TDs?

They rely on turnovers and defensive scores. The Bears were as fragile as a house of cards.

No, lucky they got all the bounces. Scores can be very misleading at times.

The bears had a creampuff schedule -their 7-1 start was smoke & mirrors-so as collapses go it isnt even top 5 imo.

The defensive turnovers that they turned into points early in the season really masked how terrible offensive line for pass or run, RB Forte well passed his best (he is plodder like Green-Ellis), Cutler has strong arm but prone to decision making errors, Marshall is the only deep threat WR on squad, Jeffery can't create separation on routes without illegal interference on CB, lack of TE or slot receivers for quick release dink & dunk especially with bad Off.. Line.

And now the defence is starting give yards and points against the run, still don't think they have able replacement for Urlacher. If they draft very well in those off.. positions then they can be a SB contender, not as they are now.

OL and playcalling has been horrible all season. They do not even use Forte right. He is best when he is able to get into the open field off screens and dump off passes out of the backfield. But honestly it doesn't matter who is RB right now nobody can produce consistently behind the horrible OL. Cutler takes some of that blame too he is a turnover machine but he never has time.
