Lakers werent any better last year than they are this year, just different circumstances last year caused them to look better than they actually were.
Lakers were actually not much different their first 25 games last year than they are this year, ATS anyway. Last year first 25 games 14-11 SU 11-14 ATS. This year first 24 games 10-14 SU 9-15 ATS.
So this shows how perception of teams cloud people's judgments and opinions. Lakers werent good last year either, they just got to play teams with injuries at key times, didnt have any injuries of their own, and also started playing hardcore defense.
In general they werent very much different than they are this year, this year is just fresher in peopl's minds and they are flaming out in spectacular fashion against some of the worst teams in the league.Comment -
