You're obsessed with the +EV lifestyle, so surely you must realize that making and posting videos is inherently -EV, unless you're receiving psychological satisfaction greater than the effort involved in the process. The nature of starting threads is to engage others in conversation on a topic, and when you include a video of yourself, you obviously want the conversation to be about you. This is the very definition of celebrity, the capturing of public fascination and attention.

This isn't to say that you weren't successful at it for awhile, as I believe you were. However, it's one of those things where I think the goal itself is not only shallow, but counter-productive to personal growth. When you're more worried about getting people's attention rather than their respect, I think your own self-respect has to suffer in the process, and that's never any good.

Ra77er, I'm not saying people should never make videos to put on the forum. I enjoy them too, in fact I've even fallen in love with some of the guys who've made them for us. Without argument, they're a great tool for bringing us closer together by letting us feel like we "know" people.

My point was that a lot of guys take it too far. They learn that SBR is perhaps one of the most captive audiences any entertainer could find, and they get sucked into the celebrity of it, until it eventually morphs into pathological self-promotion. I mean, many of us will probably remember Zeta twenty years down the road for such memorable episodes as 'I Just Fukked a Granny' and that creepy smile on Bobby's face when Zeta started humping the bed in the motel room they shared at the AC Bash. The problem is that Zeta won't look back on it as fondly as others, because much of it involved making a fool of himself, just like Brock did by plagiarizing iifold's content.

And that brings us back to my original point: that nobody here having anything better to do was great for him when the attention was for him, but now that it's negative and focused on someone else, he rebukes us for it. You can't have it both ways, lest you make yourself a hypocrite.

i hope you are not trolling with those responses but i will give an honest response anyway

i like to record funny/interesting scenes so i can watch them for myself later. its entertaining for me. i still watch some of my videos from 3 years ago even after everyone else forgot i made them.

then i post them on SBR b/c other posters enjoy watching them and find them interesting as well. i dont care if some posters are laughing at me. i am never meeting 90% of these people anyway. its not -EV b/c it takes about 5 minutes to upload a video free of charge over WiFi.

it's also a way for me to find out who has the same interests i do. ever since i started posting videos from the hofstra bars i have met up with 3 posters in the hofstra area to go to bars and hit up broads with.
