Great hobby and an incredible challenge.

A bigger question (at least to me) is why do people bet on financial assets?

It makes the sports I like more enjoyable. And gives me a reason to take notice of a few others.

And like Blaxor says, it's a fun challenge.

The fun goes away for me if I bet too big and care too much about the result of each bet though.

What is crazy about this is that I can give 10 people the exact same stats about 2 teams and 5 would pick on while 5 would pick the other team. This occupation is extremely difficult to be profitable long term
