Even though his numbers might not entirely show it he is no longer the dominant player he once was. Just a few years ago he was one of the most dominant players in the league and probably a top 5 player in the league. Now he is probably not even top 10. What is going on with him? Is he losing his athleticism? Is he relying on Lebron too much? Chris Bosh has stepped it up this year and is playing alot better and they are still near the top in the East. Wade has been missing games due to injuries more than usual the past couple years as well and I am not sure what to make of this big decline.

#2Wade doesn't care about the regular season. He's still one of the best players in the world. Top 10? That's not even a question... In 2006 Wade was arguably the best player in the world. He was better than Bron for sure and 2nd to only Bryant.
He will turn it around. The season just started.Cause Sleep is the Cousin of DeathComment -

#6wade is one of those guys that can give u a great 5 years and then just go down in the dumps the rest, where other players can sustain excellence in longer periods of timeComment -

#10not even really a comparison between the two....wade made his living going to the rim and taking a beating...kidd mostly a perimeter player rarely gets contact in the air and also a bigger guy anywayOriginally posted by facemeanwhile jason kidd still kicking assComment -

but kidd had to find ways to make his career go longer and make money to pay for his problems. you do realize that jason kidd took the New Jersey Nets to 2 straight NBA finals right? They lost to 2 all time great squads.Comment -

they play two completely different styles....are you disputing that? kidd has never been a contact oriented player...ever
kidd's career high in ft's in a season is 403....403 is a little more than half of most years of wade's careerComment -

#13No point in in comparing kidd to wade. As a Nets fan I might be a bit biased but Kidd single handedly turned the nets from bunch of nobodies to the best team in the east. He had no support hence the reason they lost back to back years in the finals. Instead of bringing in Carter if the Nets had brought in another start that would have complemented the team he might have won a ring in Jersey. Once he retires he will go down as one of the best PGs of all time. People knock him for being a bad shooter however he is top 3 all time in 3s made.
Wade on the other hand at 1 point was as stated one of the most dominant players in the league and lethal going to the rim. Now he probably realizes he no longer needs to take over games with Lebron their and he plays more conservatively and coming off knee surgery is not easy. He probably will be alot better come playoff time as the regular season really doesn't mean much for the Heat at this point. Lets not forget they finished 2nd in the east the past couple years.Comment -

#16wade dominant the past couple weeks. playoffs coming up soon, wade getting in gear. if you watched the all star game you'd see wade is still considered one of the best. all the players on the court know it.Originally posted by easylivingEven though his numbers might not entirely show it he is no longer the dominant player he once was. #18It's not like he's washed up. Too many reckless drives in his younger days and is paying for it a bit it now. He can still do amazing things. He is playing smarter. Isn't his FG % as high as ever? He's won't be "the man" playing with LeBron, but will certainly extend his career and get him more rings. He can't complain about that.Comment -
