so frigging depressing. how did people do it at the bash? there isnt anything here like there was the last time I was down here...about 4 years ago. Used to be multiple line sources, now you have 3 unless you want to walk over to El Cortez. everything has been moved around trying to make the places look like 'strip' resorts. The 'charm' of downtown was it was dump, but everything was where you could find it. Now its all slot machines and everything else has its own room or is way off the beaten path. I couldnt even find the Golden Nugget poker room. not that there would be anyone there, but would be nice to see what they did to it since they hid it.
I walked into Binions and they have that place all enclosed and the 'wall of fame' surrounding it, but not a soul around. I remember going in there any time 24/7 and seeing 3 or 4 tables going. Either more people playing online or everyone is broke.
Was going to stay until tomorrow afternoon but I might spend the money and just get out of here tonight. I figured some things had probably changed but I didnt expect it to look like a whole different town....
