Reporting Spam PMs

Good morning guys,

We want to ask everyone to please keep reporting the spam PMs so we get rid of the usernames asap. It looks like about 60 messages were sent out last night from a desperate forum's mod.

We will do our best to clean it up and make sure PMs remain a valuable feature here.

I still remember when he was new and he had a signature that said something like,

That was before he was STIFFing guys for 25 bucks of course.

Only problem is, the guy delivering the message is world-class dense and the worst possible advertisement for what he's trying to sell.

It would be the equivalent of getting a message from Elton John saying,

do you post at the Manly Men forum?

Yea, if we search "EOG" in PMs we can see he hit at least 50 inboxes with variations of the same message.

I don't have any problem with EOG, but I've never seen a single thread there half as intelligent as hundreds that are archived here in the think tank. Ganch and Justin would have to start working there before they could come close to claiming sharper/smarter posters than many here (obviously this doesn't include folks like the one in my signature line).

Ganch and J7 are smart guys who actually break it down for you and that slowly brings in others who are willing to share too.

EOG has one of the most interesting offshore guys in The Shrink but it doesn't seem like he does much with sports anymore and the old days can only carry a forum for so long. It would be nice if they could add to the sports betting industry somehow without trying to piggyback other sites and irritate our users.

That's some revolutionary marketing tactics on show. Logic would dictate that you'd put the best that you have on show when trying to entice visitors. Using imgv to promote EOG is akin to a strip club using englishmike's wife to drum up business.
