    Thanksgiving Horror Stories
There was a year where I was dating a new girl, and went to her family's house for Thanksgiving dinner. Once there, I was informed that "they don't like to have football on during the Holidays".

It was pure hell. I was so pissed.

I made sure to get in a fight with her right before Thanksgiving the following year.

    Any other horror stories?

I am usually the one making it a horror story for everyone else, really hung over from the night before...getting too drunk before dinner is served, screaming at the tv over the games.....

To me its just another Football Thursday!

dude, you just don't mess with turkeyday football. It's a law, or at least a bill, sitting there on capital hill. But still.

Don't really have any Thanksgiving horror stories. It has always involved football of some sort as Turkey Day football haters have pretty much been culled from my family. The in-laws aren't big sports fans at all, but they pretty much leave us alone in the other room. I'll be planted in front of the set watching my Aggies get shellacked by the Longhorns this Thursday night.

Lone Star showdown...Everything I hear is that it doesn't matter how Much UT wins by it won't change their computer standing. That being said, who knows if they will try to run up the score.

You know A&M will get up for this game so they should be able to stick around for at least a quarter and a half.

I would think taking the 35 points might not be a bad idea.

If I take your advice Amby, and lose and my IHOP dinner gets upset in my widdle tummy, you're in big trouble.

Same thing I said last night in chat: I'm looking for something like a 50-17 final, believe the spread to be about right. My beloved Aggies have pulled the upset the last two years, but it ain't happenin' this time.

Back in September, I set the line at 152 for the total points that Oklahoma, Texas and Tortilla Tech would score against Texas A&M. I took the Over and the Ivanator took the Under for a 12-pack of Shiner Bock. If it lands squarely on 152 -- meaning Texas scores 43 this Thursday -- then Ivanator and I each buy CrazyL a 6-pack of Shiner Bock. Not a prop bet you will find at any other shop other than UncleWillie'sCasino&Cantina.com
