Hawaii is in rebuilding mode. 11-19 last year, 9 newcomers and only 1 starter returning. They had lost nine straight dating back to last year, before they got an overtime win over Idaho St. last game out.

Im on Iowa St. -2.5 and the under. Basing this on what I saw from Hawaii vs Idaho St. They looked unbalanced, undersized and inconsistent...barely got by a bad team in overtime. Iowa St is doormat in the Big 12 right now, but they have started 3-0 against teams of Hawaii's caliber.

I love Alabama in the other late game, I got the line at Alabama -2.5 last night and it is now up to 5. I expected it to be around 7 to start with and can see bama winning by double digits. I'm not afraid of the loss to Mercer, who went on to beat Auburn and then take Georgia Tech into OT.

I actually had the under listed as a potential play when I outlined my card to start the day. Wouldn't touch a side. Both teams have new faces and really just aren't going to be solid. Hawaii had the golden touch from three in their last game, but I think that was a mirage. The X factor though is how the kids from ISU play when they're on vacation in the Islands. Are they focused or do they just come out and F around. If they do, then the over could hit.

I do hate when teams have to travel to Hawaii to play, probably the only reason they get half the wins they do.
