Go look at the FT discrepency for the Lakers and their opponents. Lakers got 3 of their 9 wins from the foul line, and of their 13 losses 5 or 6 of them they actually looked respectable only because they took more than doublt the free thorws their opponents did.

before they started to intentionally foul tonight Lakers were 40 to 18 free throw differential. Outscoring Cavs by 19 points from the line. If not for that bullshit lakers would have gotten beat by 15 to 25 depending on if they pulled the starters or not.

So I dont think anyone should be crying about missed free throws they get twice as many as they deserve as it is.

thats the point if they made more refs wouldnt give them more, thats how it works. Refs only give them enough or call them in key situations to make sure lakers can stay close or win. Kobe took 13 last night, he is a ball chucking hack, was 9 for 30 but refs bailed his shit out because they needed to. Washington should have had a much better chance to win that game, but some phantom 3 point foul call bullshit gave Lakers 3 free points and completely stopped the run Washington was on. There ar always others but that one was as obvious as it gets, Ref blowing the whistle when there isnt anyone within a foot and a half of the guy.
