How many people here are spending thanksgiving with friends?

airline travel is a nightmare. how many of you are avoiding traveling this week and just have a big dinner with a group of friends?

I am going to roast 4 chickens this year instead of a big turkey...every year turkey gets uneaten and goes to waste.

Going to cook some Korean BBQ beef, roasted garlic shrimp, and some magic brownies. Also have a case of assorted wine.

I will be in Atlantic City with my wife, hanging out in the Diamond Lounge watching the games with the high-rollers who have more than me. I save the family for Christmas, can only take one dose.

With family, I love them but I dont have that much in common with most of them. Futhermore, I doubt I will be able to continue my betting routine with all the crowds without offending anyone, but that's life you make exceptions and turn your life upside down for the few people you really love in life.

Even though Im Canadian, I still get excited for American Thanksgiving because of the football. I'm going to try to get an all day football party going with a few friends. Sit around, drink a 12 pack, order some Swiss Chalet and watch some grown men beat the shit out of eachother. I just need to confuse my non-football fan friends..
