Aldon Smith and Von Miller are both unbelievable players and passrushers.....I really think Von Miller is the all-around better player by a tiny bit, but both are absolute beasts

I hope Aldon breaks the record, and I think he will

        east coast bias.

if aldon was on a New York or Boston team, he would be all over ESPN 24/7.

He doesn't even look big but he's such a beast, I wish the Chargers had him.

Strahan doesnt have it, that one he got to break the record was a frigging joke.

But regardless I am surprised 3 or 4 guys havent broken it already, the number of passes has skyrocketed the past couple seasons, so that obviously means more chances to get sacks. If anything breaking it now is a 'watered' down record because of the rise in passing attempts.

Aldon is a beast. But I'd probably still prefer Watt or Von Miller too him. I dont study defensive players, but isn't Aldon pretty average against the run?

Yea Aldon and Von are both incredible. But there's no way of knowing exactly how much Justin Smith helps boost Aldon's sack total

Meaning what? He doesn't compile tackles? He's not supposed to. He doesn't fulfill his gap obligations, allowing open lanes? His defense is tops against the run. How do you really qualify that as an outsider looking in?

bc he plays on the west coast

the media doesnt cover those guys as much, which is why Eli refused to play for san diego

Eli didn't want to play for san diego, bc they are a joke of a franchise, not because there is an east coast bias in media coverage.

                            Von Miller >>>

Watt is a DE. All he does is rush the friggin QB on every single dam play. Aside from sacks and PDs, he doesn't get many other points. I expect INTs from his PDs, and he doesn't force many fumbles.

Aldon Smith is a 3-4 OLB, aka a DE where he also rushes nearly every dam down a la Shawne Merriman a few years back. His Run D and coverage skills are spotty.

Von Miller is a 3-4 OLB that drops into coverage nearly as much as he rushes the QB. Solid run defender (few FFs on the season), solid coverage player (Pick 6 on the season), and a better pass rusher than Watt or Smith.

And Miller is the best dancer in the NFL (no homo)
