The purpose of this thread is to give tribute or scorn to things in the world of sports, betting or whatever. THUMBS UP

:thumbs_do to Bet Atlas customer service. For some reason they only have their customer service phone number on their website. So when I go to phone in a wager, they have to transfer my call to wagering. That wouldn't have to be a big deal - but their CS people make it one. Every phone call begins with a debate. They want me to write down the number for wagering. I tell them I don't want a bunch of special notes for books; if they want me to have that number, put it on the website. One CS rep actually threatened that they would stop transferring my calls at some point. Psycho. :thumbs_do
:thumbs_do to Intertops because you can only enter a "risk" amount for your wagers. You need to have the option of entering a "to win" amount. That's so basic in this day and age.
:thumbs_up to the Federer/Nadal rivalry that is blossoming in men's tennis. It is very intriguing. I could actually see myself watching some tennis someday if it continues on.
:thumbs_do to The Who whose current concert tour is soon coming to Toronto. This just irks me because I remember The Who advertising a Farewell Tour concert at Maple Leaf Gardens. I bought tickets thinking it would be the last chance to see them. I believe that was about 1983.
