    Aussies - I was BANNED from Sportsbet.com.au
Anyone else in the same situation?

Wouldn't payout on a bonus because I was deemed a "risk" according to their money management department.
3x bonus refunds rejected on their current NBA promotion and money down the drain.

Pity. But plenty of other better books out there.

    that's poor form by sportsbet

I hardly use them anymore although they do have the best live betting options and service out of all the australian sportsbooks

they are going downhill so don't even sweat it guy, as you said plenty of quality sportsbooks out there

I agree.. I like their service and betting options.
Just seems really Mickey Mouse stuff and crap you'd expect from dodgy South American online agencies.
Maximum is $100 on that promo - so not huge money. But losing $300 because they won't refund is poor forum.

They do great promos, but use too many of them or lock in profits by backing alternative outcome with them then you will get cut off pretty quickly. Still, if they didn't advise you prior to the bets that promos were unavailable to you they should pay the refunds.

If they let you play with the bonus and then refused to payout, file a Complaint with SBR.

I mentioned a few months ago on here that something's messed up with that book. They sent me heaps of promos to sign up again as I let my account go dormant. When they finally piled on so many bonuses that I eventually caved in, they wouldn't take my cash at all. Not even without a bonus. And I am most definitely not a risk to anyone these days especially. Yet they still send me promos at least once a week

I still haven't had any problems with them.

But in your situation I would like to see how it goes if you file a complaint with sbr and how they respond, with a J7 video response.

They probably should pay the bonus -- the Aussie regulator (in this case NT) may be worth filing with (not sure SBR have a track record with Aussie books, but the regulator had some success with PortlandBet, though bonuses are tricky territory).

That said, the title is misleading. I suspect it was meant to notify "Aussies" that you were banned by Sportsbet, but can also be read as Aussies were banned by Sportsbet, which would of course be business suicide ;-)

Sportsbet.au & IASbet were taken over by PaddyPower, if you have accounts there they will be linked. If it looks like you have any idea about sports betting, take arbs or decent lines, it will only be a matter of time before they identify your betting patterns as unprofitable and exclude you from promotions or limit your bets to peanuts.
Never had a problem at Sportsbet.au, until those arseholes took over, had really good offers and customer service but has completely gone down the pan since then.

Weird. I thought that 99% of their clients are from Australia.

I don't believe this story. Isn't there anything else to add? Doesn't surprise me, they are a real version of an A+ book

After some pressure they refunded the promo bets. Still excluded from all promos and have some pultry betting limits in place.
Will take action elsewhere from now on.

Great book with good promos if you can get them. Just don't beat the closer too often or pound bad lines

Good result, no way should they have denied you the promo refunds without ever having told you that they'd cut them off.
