Maybe I am adding wrong, but I think you might have the totals wrong from the elite 8 on to the final.

Elite 8 should total $250 not $200. So the total after that round would be $425.

Final Four should total $500 not $400. So the total after that round would be $925.

Finalized should total $625 not $500. So the total after that round would be $1550.

You got the total right for the Championship round at $750, but the total after all rounds should be $2300.

Let me know if I missed a rule that explains that you only win 4/5th's of prized money, from the Elite 8 to the Finalized round??

We had forgot to update the signup post with the proper breakdowns, but the total prizes still equal $8550 as the excel spreadsheet above indicates. We've adjusted the denominations in the signup post to reflect that, nice catch.

He tried to participate in BTP a couple years ago. Within a very short time, he was disqualified. He posted that he was booted for scamming the contest by running multiple accounts.

Most people figured the real reason he was disqualified was he is an SBR employee - and therefore, according to the generally acknowledged rules, he never should have been allowed to play for money in the first place.

So either he is a scammer or an SBR employee who feels there is more honor - or at least more attention - in claiming to be a scammer.
