Nothing on his twitter, nothing to media.

Figured he'd be right out and say "see I'm better"

He just announced through his team a few days a go that he plans to return to the ring on Cinco De Mayo weekend and the Weekend of Mexican independence day (Sept 15) dont get all excited that it will be pac man, Probably Robert Guerrero then Canelo Alvarez

The fight between these two guys lost any attraction 4 years ago, anyone still thinking it would have been any good or reflective of how they were when they were both actually good doesnt know shit.

But for Mayweather he just lost 10s of millions of dollars, so his time table of being broke just lost a couple years.

Pacquioa hasnt been the same since he became a politician and found religion. that was pretty obvious, guy wasnt serious bout boxing for along time. Him losing last night was no surprise, but getting knocked out like he did was pretty dramatic. Shows he clearly didnt have his head into the fight.

I imagine he is a lot like Tyson, fighting to help support the leeches and hangers on that follow him everywhere. Once fighters lose that desire to fight and the willingness to hurt people they arent much good anymore. Talent isnt enough in boxing. And when you starts slowing down and getting old it gets magnified.

For the record, pac's training camp was the shortest he'd ever been for 6 weeks since he had other obligations and so for while Juan started 4 months from fight. Boxing is a combat sport and boxer's commitment is needed to succeed, Juan perfected that right straight counter punch that put pacs out cold.

floyd could care less.....theres nothing to say he hasnt already said......remember when pacs fans claimed floyds domination of jmm was because jmm couldnt be effective coming up that high in weight????

floyd will still make a boatload of dough for easier fights.....he isnt worried about anything going down the drain

its not about pacquiao not being the same since he became a politician or anything like that.....despite all of the outside distractions and interests you have to remain focused and remember how your bread is buttered.....he didnt gain fame and money from being a singer or a politician.....so any lost focus on the work to be done in the ring is downright stupid on his part or any members of his crew....thats what made him manny pacquiao...boxing.....maybe he started to believe in his own hype and thought he could just show up and be better than anyone(something floyd doesnt do...he knows what earns him those paydays and isnt going to let anyone take food off his table....he trains like a broke man)........
                            at.
fact of the matter is ....he barely got by jmm before....he beat a weight drained oscar....he kod ricky hatton...which was awesome....but ricky had been knocked out by floyd and almost knocked out by juan lazcano after that.....cotto was his best win...but even cottos feet and defense are lacking....beat a human punching bag in margarito....and shane...well.....whatever.....pac was a good figther...but he was never close to what people made him out to be

theres a great line in a great hip hop track that i love...it goes like this

"them counterfeits still pullexcuses...time flies, the truth prevails, and reveals that theyre usleless....the proof is in the pudding they all about the cream gotta put in the work when you're following your dream"

the proof is in the pudding right now....and the truth prevailed....theres nothing for floyd to say that you havent just seen....theres a difference between real greatness and focus....and someone who was maybe a little overhyped

Mayweather lost a potentially 50-70 million dollar purse for himself. Who knows, maybe even 100 if they were able to do it at the height of Manny's career and promoted just right. Almost every boxing fan would've bought that PPV, not to mention every single Filipino would've watched, hell even the Mexicans who say their heroes get thumped one by one by these guys. When Manny was so hyped that Marquez was a 9 to 1 underdog against him in the 3rd fight, that's when it should've happened. Unfortunately though, as talented as Floyd is, he is a pussy. The world's most talented pussy. I would've been penetrating huge on Mayweather, because the fight would've been close to even odds.

he got very careless and got KO'd
pacman nearly ended the fight himself earlier in the round

im not even sure why they decided to fight JMM a 4th time
this dude was too dangerous to keep fighting given wat had already transpired in the last 3

Floyd was in an open beef with 50 Cent.

They were going back and forth at each other on twitter.

50 said something like he weighs 204 now if he hits Floyd that boy gonna see a white light lol.

floyd used the "olympic style testing" as an excuse to not fight manny
when manny allowed the testing, floyds next excuse was money
now it will be because manny got KO'd

It was a great fight but let's be honest - Pac was controlling it from start to finish and two openings were the difference. Pac wins that fight 9 times out of 10, which is why the outcome was so dramatic. The ref was literally about to stop the fight at the end of the previous round and Marquez just barely got past it with a flurry which allowed the fight to advance past the 5th round bell.

Saying PacMan is "done" is a tremendous overreaction - he's still clearly the superior fighter.

With a good marketing plan: 24/7 HBO series, TV appearances, trash talking in the media, people from casual sports fans to boxing fans will get up for the fight and it should still sell more than say De La Hoya/Mayweather. It's not as if there's some better fight to order instead.
