New 5dimes p2p policy?

I just completed a p2p to 5Dimes via online and they are stating that they only cover the fees if you go into the store. If you do it online, they'll only cover $8. What is going on?

Ran into that myself, they just changed the rule this week, and unless you read their rules every single day looking for updates, you were blindsided.

I recommend asking for a name in the philippines when depositing to 5dimes from now on. The fee to the Philippines is only $6 online. Costa Rica and Nicaragua are much higher.

In the previous chat, I was told that I could take a screenshot of the receipt and email it in. that's why it took me so long to figure out that you have to physically go into a store.

I still am miffed. I would not have deposited this way had I known 5dimes' new policy. The old policy was if you used this method and sent over $250, the fees were covered. I sent over $250 and paid a lot in fees, but the guy in chat is telling me that it only costs $8. It didn't though.

Talk to someone higher-up, if you are depositing that money, I am sure they will be willing to work with you. Give them a call, try out a few CS reps, live-chat if you run into a stubborn one you are finished.

probably because its a-lot more expensive to do a ** through a CC online, then to do it in person. most of the times the fees are only 8 dollars to do it in person, and like 30 online.

I'm surprised they will even let you do it online. I tried to do it online once and they told me I couldn't. Said I had to go to a certain location and send it in person.
