After extensive review I have to side with yet another road team here. Yes the Packers are 26th in the league rushing the ball but when you play in a division full of teams who specialize in run-stopping, namely Minnesota and Chicago, that is likely to happen. While the Pack are running the ball fairly well against mediocre d's, the Saints fall in a less than mediocre category in most defensive statistics. Both teams vaunt an impressive aerial attack, but when a major component to that attack is either out or hindered (Reggie Bush), and a lackluster running attack in a platoon backfield, the two options for Brees to go offensively can be snuffed out by the Green Bay secondary (Lance Moore and Marques Colsten). Thus, looking ahead to tonight, if the Packers can establish a running game, their passing game is one of the best in the league as they showed last week. When an offense can click on all cylinders, the defense follows. Coming off an impressive home win, the Packers will continue their winning ways. This decision has a lot to do with Bush's injury and Packer momentum due to a successful show of offense complimented by their more than capable running game. No play on o/u...(gun to my head play= under)
