SBR Championship is improperly named.

I hate to complain but it assumes you have the time to waste playing the SBR poker games all year....why can the Championship be an actual accounting for the poker players that are also members of this community?

No offense to SBR poker at all, jsut realise it does not cater to me so I consider it a complete waste of my time.

I do however want to participate in the Championship! and I want the title (I dont really even care about the prizes).

In fact if permitted to play I would donate all winnings back to the players distribute my winnings among the other winners.

Maybe have another tournament and call this one the 'Tournament of Champions' or something. SBR championship seems bad because you alienate cash players who play elsewhere.

Your comments are a direct insult to this poker community that plays for the love of the game and self improvment.
Clearly you do not understand the pride we all have in participating in this hand out by SBR/ Bodog?Bovada challange, however it is remarcably clear that you do not have what it takes to make the numbers that indicate your capabilities in order to participate.

you cant play an sbr tournament at the same time you are playing online at another site? i do it literally every day.

just leave an hour later if you plan on playing live poker if you dont partake in online poker, not hard to fit these into your schedule.

Yea, Would be cool if you won something for grinding out months worth of tourneys and coming in 1st or top 5. This is the 2nd time i took 1st in these long series and then get knocked out of the 1 big one to end with nothing ( variance can be a mofo ).

2. Anyone that talks strategy from the rail in these tournaments need chat banned. If a mod is not able to watch table chat, turn all observer chat off. It happens too many times.

You think others here don't oft times find it a pain in the ass to find the time to grind out these tourneys in order to qualify? What makes you so special that that we (the participating community) many times have to jostle around our schedules b/c we understand what the rules and parameters are for these kinds of promotions SBR generously offers, yet, 'special' people like you needn't be bothered??? Pffft... take a hike.

These types of promos reward participating members.

And FYI... I play poker for cash at casinos (no, not a 'pro' like I'm sure you are ) and I know for a fact other people on that list play cash/$tournaments both live and online fairly regularly.

Thats what they have everyday including weekends. Play as often or infrequently as you like with a small entry fee -- do well and win points.

I agree. Not looking for anything but just saying it would be cool if there was some kind of prizes for the top players after months worth of tourneys. I know we win points along the way and everything SBR gives out is more than generous. Instead of having the whole prize pool put in to 1 tourney maybe put 20 or 30% to the final standings in the future.
