amber, i too doubt he is.. but he might have lived in canada or grew up there for 5 yrs.. would this count? he does talk slowly with no accent, just like all canadian radio guys.. his love for hockey and living in Cali is unexplainable. have yet to see a guy like this.. i too don't think he is canadian, but him having lived in canada at some pt in his life when he was a really young kid is not out of the question.Comment -

I'm Canadian too. In fact, Vegas Dave's dad and I go way back to when we were working in the oilpatch around Red Deer. Used to drive up to Edmonton and watch the Oilers a lot. Went to Calgary to see some women's curling but was there for the Stampede and the rodeo was what convinced me to move to Texas. Not too tough to fake a Texas accent, eh.Comment -

I believe Dave spent his early years in Florida, so my guess would be that he's a native Floridian. That being said, it makes his love of hockey all the more suspicious having only lived in the Sun Belt. you all know how much i hate touts.. (LT)... however, if i found out that my little buddy dave was a tout all this time and making big $$$ on the side.. i swear, i'd take my Titan hockey stick on the next flight to L.A. and give him a few cross checks and i'd spear him too with my stick...

Was born in California, lived here until age 4. Family moved to Florida when I was 4, we hated it there, moved back when I was 7. Have lived here ever since. Stayed local, went to USC.
Dad born and raised in New York, grew up a Rangers fan... when he moved out here he became a Kings fan. This was back before they had directv NHL packages, and if you loved a sport you took on the local team. So he became a Kings fan and raised me one. This is where I get my hockey roots...Comment -
