    Denver\Atlanta Comparisions
On the road tonight so can't watch the game but I caught a bit of the pre game hype on ESPN. I'm so sick of hearing about how great Denver is while at the same time the Falcons get blasted cause they "haven't beaten anyone."

Who has Denver beaten? We heard all pre season what a hard schedule they have and all this but in reality the only team they have beaten with a winning record is cincy and they didn't have one at the time. Oh and a Pitt team on opening night that obviously has been struggling.

It's a lot easier to go 9-3 when you face Chargers, Chiefs, Raiders a couple times a year. Every solid team they have faced has ended up in the loss coulum.

And I love the excuse when they don't do well. it's the fact that Peyton manning is SO good that the mear mortals that he plays with on his team are simply having a hard time keeping up with him.

Not so. Lost to the two eventual champs. Another chance this year.

Two Superbowl appearances, 1 ring, good enough to get in the Hall of fame.

Past doesn't matter we are talking about this year. Falcons have more wins including one over Denver and beat better opponents Falcons are a better team this year.

The only opponents they played that were different by the two teams not counting the double opponents for the division
Denver has had a lot tougher schedule. Yes you guys did beat us but it took manning throwing 40 interceptions in the first quarter and the worst replacement ref calls i have ever seen. I am not saying atlanta is not good, I actually think they are the best team in the nfc. I think the two teams are pretty equal, but on a nuetral field i give denver the edge.

atlanta with the 24th ranked strength of schedule for 2012. the broncos didn't play a team with a losing record in 2011 until week 10

Thats a stupid ranking then. You can't play KC, OAK and SD twice a year and say you have a tough schedule. ATl also will win their division which is much tougher then AFC West. Den will not get past NE in playoffs Fox is Bellichicks bitch.

Denver did lose those 3 close games but if you watched those games all of them were slow first half starts. And in each one of them Manning was on fire in the second halfs. If he got the ball one last time in each of those games they'd be undefeated. Denver D is starting to play great as well

If Denver played Atlanta on a neutral field lets say next week Denver would be atleast a 6 point favorite.

Atl is currently a 2 point fave over the defending SB champions you think Denver is 8 points better then NYG?

Well, yes I do. Im extremely high on Denver. Atlanta is at home this Sunday facing the G-Men though, there not laying the 3 as a home favorite should in that spot. I think Denver would be a -4.5 favorite on a neutral field to the Giants.

To bring this back up Denver has beaten exactly 2 playoff bound teams in Cincy and Balt not exactly elite teams. Falcons meanwhile have beaten 3 in Wash and Den as well as Dal and NYG one of which should get in.

I'm not saying Den isn't a good team but it's ridiculous how everyone is ready to hand them them the trophy while at the same time talking about how Atl hasn't beaten anyone.
