The only way you should drink egg nog is making it from scratch. Much better than then the stuff bought in cartons. I mix mine with rum.

It's not as big in the South as it is in the North. Egg Nog is a milky/creamy drink that's main alcoholic spirit is either bourbon or rum. extremely fattening and VERY tasty. A homemade one can take hours to make, but so worth it. Big at Xmas parties. Tends to get women CRAZY!!
