I fade Lakers every game just because, but if they cant beat New Orleans tonight they wont make the play offs this year.

nash is not playing right now so there is no telling what the lakers will play like until he returns. With Duhon running the point, no team is going to make the playoffs.

LOL I should be able to play point for the Lakers and beat the Pelicans or Hornets or Bobcats or whatever they want to be called.

If they lose this game theyll be 8-11 with the tough part of the schedule coming up. If they cant beat New Orleans on the road how many road games are they going to win? I dont care who is playing.

10 of their next 20 games are on the road, well technically only 9 since the Clippers game is listed as away. They will be lucky to win 5 of them, I dont think they win more than 3. Of the 10 home games in that stretch only 6 are gimme types. So if they go 9-11 their next 20 and they lose tonight thats 17-22 nearly half way through the season, and they stil havent gotten into the toughest part of their schedule.

They have no bench at all, so their chances in the playoffs are slim to non. They should make the playoffs though. Gasol is injured and Nash is not playing tonight, which means you're over reacting. I hate the lakers as much as you do, but I am not writing them off at the beginning of the season.

Pauly was on the Hornets +4.5 and the ML. He even pmed me before the game and told me to hedge my Lakers bet just like he did in 2010 in game 4 (i think?) of the nba finals when he begged me not to take LA because Stern would make the call for the Celts.

He said in the PM that Stern would be in the building, and that all the bets were coming in on LA, linking me to several sites showing all the money flowing in on the Lakers and the line moving against LA. Classic Reverse Line Movement, he said.
